It’s the year of elopements. The year of doing the thing you want to with the people you want to. Weddings, simplified. The year to get the dress (just wait until you see this glorious Rue de Seine gown), venture into the woods with your closest people, and live a day as a forest nymph.

Our best advice to couples getting married, always, especially as a recovering people pleaser, is to do you. Do it how you want it. If you don’t know, sit and think about it. Do you want it to be an all out hoopla, or would you be far happier with a few of your nearest and dearest, or even more personal as just the two of you (well… and us… but we’re totally chill, swear).

This particular day looked like a sunny day beneath the trees, just before fall set in. Two totally, completely, madly in love humans with some of the best vows we’ve ever heard (seriously - fogged up my viewfinder, and it wasn’t just because of the mask wearing), family, barefoot walks through the woods, and an outdoor reception lit by candles and the waning moon. In other, simpler, terms - pure magic.
