Catskills New York Backyard Wedding // Becca + Bryan

Where to begin. These are the kinds of weddings my heart feels so at home at because it genuinely feels so cozy and warm to be a part of. There's the nature piece of it. The being in it and allowing the ambiance to carry its own element of nostalgia inducing sounds and smells, but more than anything, it's the element of love. 

I'm not just talking about the love between the couple (though Bryan and Becca's love connection is SO beautiful), but it's the love coming from every corner and side and angle and crevice. Bryan and Becca's love for their people, their people’s love for them, and the love they showed us, as vendors and fellow humans desiring so badly, to celebrate them. It is the kind that gives me hope.  

Beyond the soul connections, it was a beautifully laidback day of getting ready in cabins, married beneath the trees in a little pine grove next to the sounds of water making its way down a creek, and celebrating with the most delicious foods (thanks, as always, Chef Deanna, you magical human!) It was 100 percent a day with purpose and intent. A documentary wedding photographers dream - and we will never stop talking about the impact this group of humans have had on us.
