A Sunrise Engagement in the Blue Ridge Mountains // Jordy + Valerie

An experience. A wonderful, beautiful, connecting experience. We gathered before the sun had made its way above the earths’ precipice to begin our hike, and together, made the ascent. The moonlit frost was twinkling on the tips of the grasses where it collected through the night, and the breeze whipped our hair across our faces, but we ascended together among the fog, knowing magic awaited us.

This was Jordy + Valerie’s first sunrise together. Watching them experience its beauty as its blaring rays shown in and out through the clouds atop the Blue Ridge Mountains, changing the sky from gray to blue to pink to orange, was a beautiful thing to witness. They flit and floated barefoot across the mountaintop in perfect synchrony - holding, kissing, loving, watching.

From the top of a mountain to the foot of a waterfall and the journey in between. The most perfect beginning to the wedding weekend.
